Project Canary Selected to Techstars Alabama EnergyTech 2020 Class

Alabama TechstarsDENVER, BIRMINGHAM, September 8, 2020 — Project Canary, the leading provider of continuous monitoring technology and ESG solutions in the energy industry, announced that it has been selected to join the Techstars Alabama EnergyTech 2020 Class.

The program is supported by Alabama Power, the Economic Development Partnership of Alabama (EDPA), the Alabama Department of Commerce, Altec, PowerSouth and the University of Alabama. Participating companies will work closely with these organizations to develop solutions to pressing problems faced by energy utilities and others in the energy industry.

In a highly competitive process, Project Canary was one of ten selected companies, whose innovative solutions were deemed to have the largest prospective impact on the energy industry. Each member company in the class has a diverse background, coming from six states and three countries. Techstars EnergyTech 2020 Class will help corporations “future-proof” their businesses from disruption by giving them the opportunity to engage with companies that have innovative technologies that impact their sectors.
