Austin Heitmann joins Project Canary as Senior Manager of Air Quality Engineering to strengthen technical sales and product development strategies

DENVER, Feb. 4, 2020 — Project Canary, the leader in continuous methane monitoring solutions, today announced that Austin Heitmann has joined the company as Senior Manager of Air Quality Engineering. Austin brings years of experience introducing new technologies into the oilfield, including hands-on expertise with air quality monitoring programs.
Austin will be responsible for product development, advising prospective clients on air quality monitoring best practices, designing continuous monitoring systems and project management. In addition, he will play a key role in technical sales support and new customer acquisition.
Prior to joining Project Canary, Austin worked for Montrose Environmental Group as the Emerging Technology Project Manager where he worked with clients to develop and design Air Quality Monitoring Plans. His expertise includes ambient air monitoring, air quality sensors, fence line monitoring and working with regulatory stakeholders.

Austin received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical and Biological Engineering from Colorado State University.
