Congratulations! Taryn Weiner with Crestone Peak Resources recognized as one of Colorado’s “Top Women in Energy” by the Denver Business Journal

All of us at Project Canary extend a very warm congratulations to Taryn Weiner, Air Quality Supervisor with Crestone Peak Resources, for her recognition by the Denver Business Journal (DBJ) as one of Colorado’s most influential women in the energy industry. On April 24, 2020, the Denver Business Journal published its seventh-annual Top Women in Energy special report recognizing 44 women for their contributions to the industry and community.

Taryn WeinerTaryn Weiner told the DBJ, “From the beginning of my career, I have loved getting out in my hard hat and steel toes and digging into the field operations. This has helped by giving me a holistic view of my work.”

Taryn received her B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from Colorado State University in Fort Collins. For the past 15 years, she has worked in various environmental engineering positions in energy and air permitting.

Crestone Peak Resources is a leading Colorado-based oil and gas operator and a member of the Continuous Monitoring Program managed by The Payne Institute for Public Policy at the Colorado School of Mines. Project Canary is currently the only technology partner providing continuous monitoring data for the program, and works closely with Taryn in utilizing the Canary Solution to support their Leak Detection and Repair efforts and clean operations.
