About Us

Project Canary helps energy operators turn methane signals into clear decisions that improve day-to-day system performance. By bringing these high-fidelity signals into one place, we show operators where they’re losing operational stability – so they can fix the right problems first.

Our Story

Built on measurement. Growing with operators.

Project Canary began by developing high-precision methane sensors that provided operators with accurate, reliable field measurements. Since 2019, those systems have generated a multi-year, high-fidelity methane dataset that now powers our analytics and models.

As operator needs evolved, so did we. We moved from hardware alone to a unified software platform that makes methane data clear, actionable, and indispensable by turning scattered signals into one decision-grade view of methane performance across your assets.

What Guides Us

  • precision

Use the highest fidelity methane signals available

Accuracy is the starting point for everything we build.

  • drone case

    Design for operations

Workflows have to match how real Oil & Gas and Utility teams work.

  • implementation

Turn complex emissions data into clear signals and next steps

Help operators know what to do next.

  • real time data

    Earn trust through proof

Credibility comes from transparent data, independent science, and results in the field.
