Bayswater is Second E&P to Join Air Emissions Monitoring Program, Chooses Project Canary’s Continuous Monitoring Solution
Project Canary was featured in The Denver Business Journal in an article covering the growing momentum among leading oil and gas producers for continuous air emissions monitoring.
Bayswater Exploration and Production recently announced participation in an air emissions program that will cover approximately 99% of its daily production volumes sourced from the Denver-Julesberg Basin, just northeast of Denver.
Steve Struna, president and CEO of Bayswater, remarked: “We chose to engage with Payne and Project Canary because of the tremendous learning opportunity it provides us to know even more about improving the efficiency of our operations so that we can engage more effectively with the communities where we operate and the regulators who oversee our activities. Our goal is to demonstrate the low environmental impact of our operations. The best thing we can have is real-time data which affords us the opportunity to continuously improve our health, safety, and environmental performance.”
The Bayswater announcement follows the January 16, 2020 news from Crestone Peak Resources announcing that company’s participation in the Continuous Monitoring Program.
