Today, ESG is not only important to our collective futures; it is imperative. To pursue a resilient energy future, having the right leadership to help lead us to sustainable outcomes is the only actionable way forward. Embedded ESG leaders with practical knowledge and experience will encourage the next wave of energy leaders and reinvigorate the future of energy.

Project Canary is proud to announce our collaboration with the University of Oklahoma's (OU) Mewbourne College of Earth and Energy (MCEE) through the Irani Center of Energy Solutions (I-CES) to deliver hands-on, industry-leading executive professional education for ESG in the Upstream and Midstream sectors. Focused on providing practical, experiential knowledge on the implementation and best practices of ESG, participants will gain valuable insights from instructors and guest speakers who have hands-on experience transforming the industry.

The ESG certificate program will be a 46-hour, 2-week long hybrid digital + in-person education format. The program begins online with five days of digital instruction (~2 hours), followed by 4.5 days of in-person education at the University of Oklahoma's Oklahoma City campus.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND: This program is designed for executive and manager-level industry professionals ready to apply ESG principles to help prepare themselves and position their companies for a multi-decade transition to a lower-carbon energy industry.

THE CURRICULUM: Participants will hear from industry-leading instructors and guest speakers and will have the chance to participate in small-group discussions about what it takes to deliver on ESG at both the upstream and midstream levels. This format will foster and facilitate meaningful dialogues between participants and instructors and peer-to-peer industry relationships that go beyond the certificate program. We're building a network of ESG knowledge, confidence, and connections that last.
